Airbus Defence & Space is delighted to invite a limited number of conference attendees to take the unique opportunity to visit Airbus Space Systems. Split into groups, attendees will take a guided tour of the various workshops – where you can see how Airbus designs and manufacturers advanced satellites and systems intended for telecommunications, earth observation, and navigation and science programmes.
 
Supporting the UK’s military satellite communications services to the UK armed forces, including mobile voice, video, and Internet and broadcast communications. Delivered through the Skynet 5 constellation, these services also meet the needs of other military and government users like NATO.
 

SEE THE AIRBUS FOUNDATION DISCOVERY SPACE STEM CENTRE & EUROPEAN SPACE AGENCY’S EXOMARS ROVER IN THE MARS YARD
 
British European Space Agency astronaut Tim Peake has officially opened the Airbus Foundation Discovery Space STEM centre in Stevenage next to the Mars Yard test area in 2017.
 
The Airbus Foundation Discovery Space consists of a multi-functional education centre with interactive exhibits and a viewing gallery connecting with ongoing engineering activities associated with the build and test of the European Space Agency’s ExoMars Rover in the Mars Yard.
